I spy another storm off to the SW on the radar! The first storm is over now, easily the best since July 2009.

I'm sure I can hear distant thunder :cc_confused: but knowing my luck it's an RAF jet :nonono: It keeps going rather dark here but then the sun comes out lol

Were you not around when the 23rd September storm hit? That was one of the best thundery showers I've seen for a long time, can't judge the one you had because it just missed me, if there is another one on the way, I hope its hits my area this time! 2 days in a row storms skirmed just to the West and North-West.

Knowing your luck, it will definitely have been an RAF jet. Not much happening here at the moment. I'm still waiting to see what the very nice looking cell to my South West brings.

A day of Black cloud promises much delivers very little. One brief heavy burst with hail lasting about a minute and that's it.

 it was a jet. Also, everytime I'm expecting a storm someone's always moving their wheelie bins around.

Good luck with the cell from the SW lol

Yeah, I tend to find that to be the case also, if not that, a car is driving past, so annoying.

Sun is coming back out again, the position of that last previous cell would suggest it hit here but alas, it did'nt, just caught the edge of a much weaker bit of PPN. Can't complain too much seeing as I did saw 2 flashes of lightning but going by other reports, It could of been so much better.

I'm staying at Primrose Valley caravan park and we have just had a little rain. No thunder yet but that will probably change soon. :):D

Heres a time-lapse of the storm that Alza and Peter F caught ... Not one drop of rain here in South Shields as yet again it slips just to the west.

Again I apologize for the quality, youtube not me..!!
