Reports & Pictures Chase Day 11

Changeover days always seem to involve something happening and so it did again with a slight chance for some dryline magic or something becoming surface based in North Central Texas. The former failed but we managed to get on the latter, a Storm just south of Dallas Fort Worth started to become Surface based and subsequently went Supercellular near Denton and Sherman, luckliy for us we drove SE Down Highway 287 and then east on Highway 380 and intercepted around 930pm. The lightning was amazing and it was a fitting end to a frustrating chase for Tour 1.

Agreed , yes it was a very strange day but very much worth it after the sunny days.......

Great lightning shots again, just catching up with the storm chase reports over the last few days, as been without the internet until now since moving home.
