Cloudy and mild overnight. Cloudy with the odd spot of light rain in the wind up to observation. Cloudy conditions persisted until the end of the morning. The afternoon saw a few bright and brief sunny spells, feeling warmer despite a fresh at time strong SW wind.

Here over the past few days we've transited from sunshine and heavy, sometimes thundery showers to overcast and lighter but more persistent rain.

The first real poor spell of weather this month: it feels like a mild day in January. Yuck!

Another dreary dull cloudy day with some spits and spots of light rain from time to time but only enough to slightly dampen the ground. Less windy than yesterday and a bit milder.

The next few days do not promise much sunshine for the Lake District - just more cloudy overcast damp days with average temps at best - I am not inspired..

evening all , just came in from patio , i only smoke outdoors , been sat reading with snow light on ,. 500 watt halogen light i watch those snow flakes fall by . whats going on i had a thick coat on ,its drizzly a little and cold . 3 weeks ago i was sat out in a tea shirt . i am pretty sure we will get some realy high temp this summer but i it will be a mixed one . i think whats being forecast in the media and on here will happen ,, but i think the computers are seeing what will happen about a week from now ,lasting about 2 ,3 weeks ,beyond that , it could go anyway . cheers all , legritter , north summerset .
