Clouding up now but we've made it to 21c already.

Hopefully it won't turn overcast all day as it often does (well until sunset anyway!).

Overcast and not very warm.

Beginning to wonder if this is going to hang around all day. Nothing would surprise me given how endemic these warm weather screw-ups have become these past couple of years. :wallbash:

I can tell you now, this cloud is not going to clear today.

Take a look at http://www.sat24.com/

That cloud has remained stationery for hours, and if anything it's building towards the East, rather than retreating to the West like the forecast indicates.

It really does annoy me living in such a boring place both physically and weather wise.

It is very warm here though, 19.5C

1030am and 22c! yikes..... mite get to 25c today! lovely out clear blue skies, light breeze.....:drinks:

There is pretty much no chance of anything approaching 20C being recorded here today. In fact the temperature is falling pretty sharply. 16.5C to 16.0C in the space of 2 minutes. It could be as low as 14C by mid afternoon.

Cloudy and chilly is basically the immediate outlook here.

There's no chance of it reaching 14C today. Infact, I would be very surprised if it sank any lower than 16.0C.

You will probably record a high just short of 20C... I have a feeling it will be very warm here today even under this annoying cloud, it's only 0.6C from that 20C mark now.

In all fairness I've recorded 9C during a foggy episode when 850hPa temperature were above 10C back in 2007 (very frustrating at the time), and the airmass was just short of 564DAM. I'm not entirely sure there has ever been a limit to how cool/warm it can get under any particular airmass (at least not in this country) So 14C is not entirely out of the question

It's not impossible, but it isn't foggy, just cloudy and slightly bright. I really don't think you will record anything under 16C today, even as all the places around you are higher than that already. You would be really unlucky though if that onshore breeze affected your temperature.

But hey, what do I know. You live in your location so you know better.
