Very unsettled and windy across the United Kingdom across the Low Counties into Germany, Poland with rain while heavy showers are forecast across Denmark, Sweden, The Baltic States and Finland. Heavy rain is expected across Russia but dry and colder across Norway. Some rain in the far north of France but largely dry across most of France. It remains hot and sunny across Portugal and Spain and across the Balearics into Italy expect lots of fine weather. Mainly dry too across Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria into the former Yugoslavia into Romania, Austria and Hungry. Lots of dry weather as well across the Ukraine. Gales will persist in the channel with the mistral also across southern France.

Friday

A fair day over Portugal and Spain. There will be plenty of sunshine and it should be dry too. This sunshine extends into the Balearics and Italy as well as Greece and Turkey. Fair for Bulgaria but some cloud and rain across Romania. France and Switzerland as well as most of Germany and the Low Countries will have much warmer conditions. It should be dry here too and there will be lots of sunshine. More cloud and some outbreaks of rain across Poland. Increasing cloud in Denmark with some rain later. Norway and Sweden should be dry with sunny spells. Staying fine through the Baltic States whilst cloud and drizzle or light rain affect Finland.

Plenty of cloud through central parts of Europe during today, although the only rain is likely to be in central and northern France and the Netherlands; most of it probably only light. Brighter skies to the east with sunny spells across Poland and through Bulgaria and Romania. The Mediterranean should be experiencing another fine autumnal day. There will be lots of sunshine here and it should be staying dry too. This sunshine affecting Spain, Italy, Greece and Turkey, with only light winds. To the north conditions are more unsettled. A fair day to come on Saturday across much of Spain and Portugal. There could be a few showers in northeast Spain, but for most the day is dry. Staying dry through the Mediterranean with the Balearics, Italy and Greece all enjoying plenty of sunshine and dry weather. Some heavy showers over southwest France, but for most of the country it should be dry and sunny. Germany and the Low Countries stay fine and dry too with more sunshine to come here. Germany is under high pressure, as is Poland, with both countries staying dry and fine throughout. To the north there will be some cloud and drizzle on the western coasts of Norway. For Denmark and Norway the day is dry with sunshine to come here. A few showers in the Baltic States with heavier showers through Finland.

Sunday

High pressure brings another fair day through most of Spain and Portugal. There will be plenty of sunshine, and this is extends into France. Much of central Europe also stays fair with more sunshine through France, the Low Countries and Germany. Austria and Switzerland stay fine and sunny too.There is the chance of a few showers affecting the west of Italy, Corsica and Sardinia. For Greece the day should be dry and sunny, and it should be staying fair through Turkey too. Today

With high pressure in charge, lots of fine, warm, summery weather to come across Europe. Lots of warm sunshine will be on offer across Britain, France, The Low Counties into Germany. This fine, dry weather will also extend across into Poland into the Baltic States with lots of heavy showers across Russia. Cooler across Scandinavia but dry and mostly sunny across Norway, Sweden and Finland. It also looks settled and dry across the Ukraine, the former Yugoslavia, Romania, Greece and Turkey. Fair and dry across Italy today with long sunny spells. Just a few showers are forecast across the far south west of Spain but mainly dry and sunny for Portugal and Spain. Very windy across Finland and Russia and feeling cold.

Sunday

Fine, warm and sunny over central and southern Europe but cloud and cooler weather to the north

It's another sunny and very warm day across England with rain across northern Britain. Most of Europe again will have a fine, summery day with morning fog patches clearing to lots of unseasonably warm sunshine from Iberia across France, Belgium, Holland, Denmark into Germany, Poland, Belarus into the Ukraine. Southward across Hungry, the former Yugoslavia into Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. A number of heavy showers with isolated thunderstorms south of Italy to Malta. Lots of warm sunshine will be on offer across Austria, Switzerland across the Alps into Spain and Portugal. A cool, cloudy day across Norway with some rain across Sweden but dry and sunnier across Finland and the Baltic States.

Tuesday

High pressure brings another fine day across Spain and Portugal. This sunshine extends into the Mediterranean giving more sunshine across the Balearics and into Italy. Further dry and sunny weather for Greece and Turkey. More sunshine and dry weather in France, Switzerland and Austria as well as Germany and Poland. There will be some cloud affecting the coasts of the Low Countries and northern Germany. Fair for western parts of Russia with plenty of sunshine in Bulgaria and Romania. A rather more unsettled pattern of weather across northern Europe. There will be wind and some showers through the UK. This cooler and showery weather extending into Sweden where it will be windy too. Further cloud and some outbreaks of rain through Finland and the Baltic States.

High pressure brings another fine day across Spain and Portugal. This sunshine extends into the Mediterranean giving more sunshine across the Balearics and into Italy. Further dry and sunny weather for Greece and Turkey. More sunshine and dry weather in France, Switzerland and Austria as well as Germany and Poland. There will be some cloud affecting the coasts of the Low Countries and northern Germany. Fair for western parts of Russia with plenty of sunshine in Bulgaria and Romania. Wednesday

Another fair day through Portugal and Spain on Wednesday. There will be good spells of sunshine here and it should be dry too. More sunshine to come across France, this extending through Switzerland and Austria as well as Hungary. Northern parts of Germany and Poland will be cloudier with some spots of rain or drizzle. Through the Mediterranean skies are likely to be clear with plenty of sunshine. The Balearics will have a fair day, and this sunshine extends through Italy. Greece will be fine too with more sunshine here. It should be staying dry and sunny for Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania. Further north conditions are going to be more unsettled and breezier. There will be brisk winds and some showers on the west coasts of Denmark and Norway. Sweden should be fair too with some sunshine here. The Baltic States and Finland will be fair with sunny spells overall, although an odd shower could affect western coasts.

A windy, unsettled day across northern Europe. An area of rain will move across Norway into Sweden, Finland into Denmark, northern Germany across Belgium, Holland and north east France. Expect sunshine and showers across Britain and northern France but dry and sunny in the south and into southern Germany and Poland. That rain will also extend down across the Baltic Region into western Russia. High pressure in the east is going to keep it settled and dry with sunny spells across Belarus, The Ukraine into Romania, Hungry into Greece and Turkey. Fine and dry with lots of sunshine as well across Italy across the Balearics into Spain and Portugal.

Friday

It's another unsettled and windy day across mainland parts of Europe with a day of sunshine and showers across Britain, northern and central parts of France across The Low Countries into Denmark and Germany. An area of heavier rain is forecast across northern Russia across the Baltic States into Poland, Austria, Hungry and Switzerland. Mainly dry across Belarus into the Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, the former Yugoslavia into Greece and Turkey. There is a risk of a few sharp showers across Italy today with some heavy showers near Sardinia and the Balearics, Lots of fine, dry and sunny weather still across Portugal, Spain and the south of France. Colder across Scandinavia but mainly dry across Norway, Sweden and Finland.

Rain spread in across the United Kingdom. Expect rain across Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany with showers across Poland and Denmark. A cold but dry and sunny day across Norway and Sweden while another area of rain will lie from Finland into Russia, Belarus into Hungry, the western Ukraine into Romania and the former Yugoslavia. An area of heavy showers and thunderstorms is expected across the far south of Italy into southern Greece. Fine and sunny across Turkey and most of Italy. Those showers will extend across Sicily towards the Balearics. Dry and sunny across Portugal, Spain and much of France though showers will affect the east. A strong mistral will be blowing across southern France today.

Monday

A fine day for Spain and Portugal today with good spells of sunshine. This fine weather affecting the west of France too. For much of northern France, the Low Countries and Germany the day is going to be cloudy and breezy with outbreaks of rain at times. More rain affects Poland with some strong winds here. Italy will be cool with some showers in the east. Low pressure in the Aegean brings unsettled conditions, cloud and some rain or showers through Greece and Turkey, some of it heavy at times. Different conditions for Turkey and Bulgaria where there will be some good spells of sunshine. To the north strong winds will be blowing through Finland and the Baltic States. There could be some cloud and rain over the far south of Sweden but most of the country will be dry and cold. Heavy showers in Norway.
