[Thundery wintry showers]

A pretty ordinary day in Cleadon with a max of 17.0C following an overnight minimum of 12.3C. The cold front hasn't moved much and has kept throwing cloud SSW-NNE across Cleadon, with blue skies to the north and west, but nonetheless there have been some sunny intervals.

1st half: Very Warm and humid with partly cloudy skies, another very mild night before that.

2nd half: Cloudier and humid but cool with amazing Severe Thunderstorms moving in off the channel , which were very potent indeed, then clearing for mostly cloudy skies.

Very dull day with no sunshine at all. Dry throughout with a cool breeze. Pretty rubbish really especially compared to Sunday & Monday.

Mainly cloudy with one or two bright intervals and a torrential thunderstorm at lunchtime. Currently cloudy, 15.1 deg C, wind light W. Today's maximum 23.2, last night's minimum 16.9.

Sunny from sunrise until about 10am, then 4 hours of horrible haze that seemed to be at least 60-70% aircraft exhaust; then the sun reappeared to give a sunny late afternoon/evening. No rain at all. Just a shame the S and E have hogged all the thunder again. But 21C max which is better than I expected.

Really strange watching those floodlights blazing at the Oval with a 4.30pm December sky behind them, when it was still sunny here!

I do think west was best today for sunshine. After cloud until 10am, a pretty sunny day in all with only light cloud during the day. Cooler but still warm and hot out of the wind in the clear sunshine.
