Clear spells overnight, leading to a clear and sunny start. Sunny spells continuing through to observation, just a few cumulus humilis and a thin vale of cirrostratus in the western sky. Staying dry, fine with bright and sunny spells throughout the day, feeling warm.

Quite interesting to be under such persistent Cirrus etc with the LOW over France and the English Channel. There has been almost

unbroken hazy/lightbulb sunshine through the day so far with only brief patches of thicker cloud beneath the Cirrus veil.
