A rather vile day!

It was dry/cloudy to start but since 09.30 the cloud lowered and it became misty/wet with drizzle then quickly heavy rain. The rain

has eased in the last 15 minutes but it's still drizzling.

Very humid at 83%, temperature 15.2c and not a breath of wind.

Stinky load of useless CRAP weather with slate gray skies all day and a miserly 13 degrees C outside, was warmer on average in bloody January down in SE England than this f'in ugly bleak HOLE with its endless biting north winds and tedious consistent drizzle.

how on earth did you manage to choose to live in such a place?

SE England, most of it, is hardly at the same height as much of the Peak District, basic meteorology and 3C per 1000ft plus its 2 degrees at least further north!

Surely you read a bit about the weather in the Peak District before deciding to live there or did you have to move with your job? Even then I would have expected you to find out about the weather. If you were on this site before the move all you had to do was pm TM and he would have been delighted, I'm sure, to tell you how wonderful its climate is, well to his idea of wonderful anyway!

So where's this low pressure?

17.3C with 30% cloud cover and long sunny spells? This is garden weather.

He won't be moaning in Winter when his area is one of the first to see snow. He'll be one of the colder members on the board living at the elevation he does!

Dry and cloudy all day in Cleadon, low cloud off the North Sea, though not as cold as it often gets in this kind of setup. A maximum temperature of 17.4C so far, following a minimum of 13.9C (the cloud kept the temperature up overnight).
