Plenty warm enough but I think with some sun one could actually call it a nice day. Alas, just a thin veil of mischiveous cloud all day. It is very frustrating when one can't even achieve sunshine in a settled spell.

A muggy day but also dissapointingly cloudy with no chinks of brightness whatsoever. You can sense some light drizzle or rain is in the air, however, looking at the radar I'm not sure where it is going to come from - the trough feature due to move across us looks exceptionally weak - little more than a band of dark cloud. Very similiar situation to thursday gone, when we were projected some light drizzle/rain, in the end we had well I counted two spits of rain only.

Tomorrow looks like delivering our first dose of proper rain since last thursday, ending a 10 day consecutive dry run, the recent spell of settled weather has definately been our best spell of weather since late April/early May. The coming week looks very unsettled in these parts with limited sunshine, whilst it will be warm it will also be very humid - can't say I'm looking forward to it much, August is notorious for such weather, wet muggy and cloudy days..

Best Sunday here since the first Sunday of the month, and best weekend in total - despite low expectations of forecasters we have been warmer and sunnier than expected; cloud much more broken today with little lower level cumulous giving two relatively pleasant days on the trot.

Seems rather a lottery at the moment apart from those poor people in Welsh border area.

Another day ruined by prevalence of high cloud - could have been a fantastic day had the clouds not been in the way. High of 24.9C and very humid - what it could have been if the sun came through.

An overcast, but very warm day. We peaked at 24C. But I have never felt it so humid. It felt WAY over 30C at times today!

It's far too warm now too. 20.3C. I'm going to be uncomfortable tonight.
