Can someone post a link to a good radar cause Im stuck with meto and I don't really like raintoday :)

See Pauls post above ^^^^^^^^

The best one on the Internet is the one provided by Netweather. It costs the equivalent of a trip to the cinema for 2 to watch a 3D movie, 8 pints of beer, 55% of a full price game for the PS3 and is worth more than all of them put together in these situations :-D

over Holmfirth looking at the radar.

Another potent cell firing up over Leighton Buzzard.

Some very encouraging signs for so early in the day. :)

Hmmm, here in Aylesbury looks really black and stormy to the North of here. Nothing showing on radar though cc_confused.gif

Go for it!

It actually makes a really good birthday present or stocking filler for the man or woman that has everything!

All sorts starting to happen now! There's that cell near Manchester, than one in Bedfordshire and it looks like something has formed just east of Coventry! We could be in for a treat, and I now believe storms could pop up near enough anywhere in England. :)

Thunder just heard! Amazing cloudscapes!

 now if you wouldn't mind could you please go out and blow as hard as you can to the east of you so it reaches Stevenage. Thanks :p

the 1245 netweather update shows it hammering it down in Wingrave up through Leighton Buzzard. That cell has exploded from nothing 1 hour ago

hehe, I'll certainly try ;)

A good couple more rumbles now - thunder is reasonably distant - probably somewhere towards MK? Unsure, to be honest.

Came back from MK about an hour ago and there was certainly some decent TCu, but they've developed into Cb quite quickly. drinks.gif

A fair amount of cumulus cloud building up here. Even though we won't get anything, these will probably develop nicely as they head NE!

The eastern half of the country looks like it's about to explode. Something developing E-W border too judging by the sat pics
