Despite the forecasts mentioning the possibility of heavy rain for this area I can't see where it's coming from when looking at the latest radar. All the heavy rain appears to be over south west England and moving east with another smaller area over north west England.

Heavy rain set in around 01.00 and has continued on and off since, particularly heavy in the last hour with nearing

20mm in my gauge.

Quite wet so far today with 12.2mm of rain falling, which is impressive seeing as it didn't start raining until just gone 7.30am. Dropped down to 10.4º and is now 15.2º and....er.....raining.

There won't be a lot of rain here, and we desperately need it. We've had 1mm so far today, and will only just about double that as the rain heading for here is weakening. It also looks like a gap has formed in the band as well, and that gap will be over me. If it's going to be cloudy and cool, at least give me rain to look at.

Staying dry and warm here with variable cloud overnight, low 15.0c. The morning has been mostly cloudy (Altocumulus castellanus) and dry with a few brighter spells. At observation, cloud more broken with sunny spells developing, warm. Sunny spells continued through the morning and in to the afternoon, though with cloud bubbling up enough to produce some heavy showers and thunderstorms in the area, though this station missed them. Feeling hot, top temperature 28.4c.

Very little rain here too so far aswell. Just 0.2mm yesterday and 0.4mm today. A much cooler night than of late with a min of 13.2C.

Currently overcast and muggy with a temperature of 19.3C and 90% humidity. The max today was around 11am when it briefly hit 21.0C.
