Hoorah some much needed sunshine after five days with virtually zero.

It also felt much warmer under the sunshine and light winds a bit more like late summer (even though it has been the first official day of autumn).

Unfortunately the next few days look preety sunless, with low cloud/rain or drizzle. Cumbria will be the worse place in england in the coming days plagued by cloud and suffering the heaviest of any precipitation. I note the BBC are raving about temps of 26 degrees for London tomorrow and Saturday and a tast of late summer, a definate NW/SE divide is taking hold..

A rather cloudy day that gradually got worse as the day went on. During the evening the wind picked up and started raining.
