The night turned clear and cool, low 5.7c with 4.0c on the grass. The morning to observation has been dry and sunny, warming rapidly. The continued dry and fine with sunny spells, especially from mid afternoon when the sky cleared completely allowing prolonged sunshine, feeling warm, top temperature 21.9c. Clear for a time after dark, with variable cloud later.

The temperature has just nudged up to 24c making this the warmest day since 3 August!

Mostly sunny throughout the day, hazy at times this morning due to patches of Cirrus and Altocumulus but very bright since lunch time

Weather A cloudy afternoon with a few heavy showers coming off the Atlantic.

A generally good day with a good deal of sunshine but some cloudy periods too. A keen breeze on taking the edge of the pleasant temperatures which maxed at 23.7c currently 22.8c.

Hope we get this or better into tomorrow evening - need to have one more bbq before the descent! Saying that I've not had one since April which really was the bbq month of the year.
