Hello lewis and 1200max, hope you enjoyed the rain : )

I was driving back from Ilford along the A11/A14 at the time of the downpour. Not something I want to repeat for a while.

Still had the idiots who thought it was ok to be going fast and the ones with no lights on!!!!!

A few pictures I took today whilst at work, from Derwentwater at Keswick.

Very heavy squally showers and you can see the jetty and fences submerged as the lake has risen about 3 foot in less than 24 hours!

laugh.png i would have gone out to experience it! but when near things like trees i do get a touch nervous!

had the pine trees moving side to side, does that a lot through the atlantic storm season but not usually in september! i like the power of the wind but dont wish for any damage, just feeling it push, and i do like the roar in the trees especially in winter with the humm they give when not in leaf!
