A line of heavy showers just moved through the area, now brightening to the west - feeling more humid after the rain fell. Wind is WNW picking up before the showers, now gone still. Temperature 19C.

There's a distinctive smell of wet tarmac in the air, hmmm - one of the smells of summer rains.

Gloriously sunny and dry with just a few cumulus dotted around - exactly like yesterday, but a bit breezier.

Was up to 19.0c by 12.28. Bang on course for about 21c.

Then it clouded over and the temperature started sliding, and sliding....all the way down to 13.4c at around 1530. :shock:

Its now currently cloudy and 14.2c. No sign of rain.
