    December: 4.1c

    January: 2.5c

    February: 2.3c

I am going for a mildish december, but I reckon there will a cold spell at the end with some snow across many parts.

For January I reckon it will be quite a cold month with cold snaps through out the month with snow and Ice, but there will be the odd milder interlude.

For February, I reckon this will be the coldest month especially the first 2 weeks with snow showers across alot of the country, but towards the end of february I reckon it will get milder witht Atlantic pushing in!!!

    December 4c

    January 2C

    February 2C

Guess 2c would be below average at the CET sight.. even though it would be around average here.

Thought they would be a bit lower.

Must be quite a warm up (relatively) during March and vice versa November.

I think as with the past few years the very cold weather will be early to mid winter and the back end of the winter will be very mild.

Every one is going for below average ?

Teleconnection signals and detailed reviews of the scientfic methodology I use are giving two vary contrasting scenarios at present which I find having study meteorology for 30 years hard to fathom.

As at 28th Sept 2011 we have (looking at coffee bean distribution in my coffee cup)

Dec CET 8.2 c .................beating the 1974 , 1934 record. Moaning threads going into melt down

Jan CET 7.3c.................. near record breaking with only 2 air frosts. 3 people on line in model thread on 25th Jan 2012 with to T24 to T384 showing

    mild mush

Feb CET 7.5c ..................near record breaking only 2 air frosts.

Looking at my tea leaves tonight in the same cup its a very different story and we will need firming up nearer the time.

DEC CET -1c ................ A record, think of the elderly (if its really bad do something)

Jan CET -3.4c ...............beating 1795 with record breaking cold nights

Feb CET -1c .................. on par with 1684

Artic ice and Guld Stream threads go into over drive.

Clealry both can't be right probably somewhere in the middle ?

Every one is going for below average.

I have been close in 2 out of about 24 CET monthly predictions based on my understanding of long range forcasting (or my guesses) so lets hope I maintain that record. This is based looking at coffee bean distribution in my cup.

Dec CET 8.2 c .................beating the 1974 , 1934 record. Moaning threads going into melt down

Jan CET 7.3c.................. near record breaking with only 2 air frosts. 3 people on line in model thread on 25th Jan 2012 with T384 showing mild mush

Feb CET 7.5 .....................near record breaking only 2 air frosts.

Looking at my tea leafs its a different story

DEC CET -1c A record, think of the elderly (if its really bad do something)

Jan CET -3.4c beating 1795 with record breaking cold nights

Feb CET -1c on par with 1684

Artic ice and Guld Stream threads go into over drive.

Hm.. a CET of 5C in December and 3.7C in January does not seem too below average!
