No need to add anything bar apologies and comiserations to those in the NW. Perfect day here at the beach. All I had wanted throughout July and August but never got, so feels like a gift. Well set up for the winter now. Than You weather Gods. yahoo.gif

Maximum of 15C and 20mm of rain today, even BoyCatchI was getting pretty hacked off with the media reporting the "heatwave"...different countries, literally.

Another very warm and sunny day, but with slightly more high cloud than yesterday. As with other areas the October high maximum set back in 1985 was well and truely beaten by a whole 1.1C. The September record max of 27.1C also fell, meaning its the warmest Autumn max temp ever recorded at this site. The evening has seen a rapid cooldown, with the temperature at 15.6C at midnight - though still very warm for October.

Max Temp: 27.3°C

Min Temp: 12.8°C

Min Humidity: 43%

High 10min Wind: 5mph

High Gust: 12mph

Mean Direction: SE

Rain Today: None
