Only light rain here at the moment, with the heavy rain to my west.Temp is around 12c.

Saturday was a day of cloud dominating the sky with the odd spot of drizzle. Some heavier patches of rain spilled down from the North-West around late-evening to night time. This then cleared to leave currently cloudy conditions.

Feeling reasonably mild with a temperature of 13.7*C accompanied by a West-South-Westerly wind. The pressure is also falling from 1018 hpa (mb).

Lots of words to describe today and none of them good - dark, dull, drab, dismal, dank, drizzly, depressing and glum, grim, grotty. Not one chink of brightness all day, indeed the whole weekend has been a write off couldn't have been anymore different to last friday/saturday.

Current conditions - drizzle and very low cloud shrouding all the fells. Tomorrow and Tuesday look a carbon-copy of today. The current synoptics are one of the worse for the Lake District - low cloud and drizzle feeding in off the atlantic and clinging to everything - wish this front would clear off but it has our name all over it.
