Its currently exceptionally mild here for October with a temperature of 17.0C just before 2am. Theres quite a strong and gusty south-westerly wind aswell.

There were light showers overnight, though becoming very mild with the temperature rising to 15.7c through the early hours, higher than any time during daylight yesterday. Overcast through the morning to observation, mild, damp. The cloud began to break by the end of the morning to allow sunny spells which continued to around mid afternoon when more cloud moved in to the area from the south west, feeling quite warm in the sun, top temperature 19.8c.

Must be another warm sector day!!

Extensive Stratocumulus, ocasional bright/sunny spells and equally occasional drizzle.

The main aspect today is a very strong and gusty WSW wind, 17.4c with humidity 77%.

Very mild indeed last night with a min temp of 15.4C, making it the latest date in the year Ive ever recorded to have a min above 15C.

Very interesting string of heavy rain, only about 3-5 miles wide stretching W-E and moving eastwards to the north of Manchester at the moment.
