Clear and sunny with cloud approaching from the west. Rather cold overnight with a min temp of 4.9C.

After a dry and clear night cloud spread in from the west by 0600 and thickened enough to produce a couple of light showers in the past hour.

The temp' is 9.5c after a min' of 7.0c and a grass min' of 2.3c

Current conditions: Well it was quite clear about an hour ago but it has just recently clouded over and now it is grey and overcast but cold with very light winds. Also last night must have been the coldest night weave had down here for a long time. Probably since at least June.

Cold again this morning with a minimum of 4.4C clouded over around 7am but it's now sunny again and feeling pleasant with rising temperatures at 11.4C. A fine weekend so far.

Clear and chilly again overnight, with shallow mist and fog over the near by fields, low 4.1c, again just avoiding a ground frost, grass minimum 0.2c. Clouding over around dawn and staying mainly cloudy through the morning with just bright spells. The afternoon saw the sheet of Stratocumulus break to allow good sunny spells, turning warm once again.

Any light showers dying out by 0900 g.m.t to leave the rest of the morning dry but rather cloudy. The cloud began to break shortly before midday and the rest of the day was dry and mainly sunny.

Early thick fog cleared by around 10.00 to leave a mainly sunny and rather warm day, with a cloudier spell around lunchtime. Currently clear, 10.3 deg C, wind light W. Today's maximum 18.5, last night's minimum 3.3.

Yesterday: cold start with the first ground frost of the season, then a beautiful autumn day with wall-to-wall sunshine. Maximum 17.0, minimum 3.5. Wind light SE.
