    Quite a peacefull morning here, with light broken cloud and some sunshine peering down through the breaks and a slight breeze.

    Dry with bright intervals and 7 oktas Cist, Acu and St fractus. Vis' was down to 1000mts earlier but the bank of fog has cleared and it's now 12 km.

    Clear for a time last night and the temperature fell to 2.8c with another widespread ground frost forming. Low 2.8c with –3.6c on the grass. Cloud increased from around 02:00 GMT and the temperature recovered to 7.9c by dawn. Bright with hazy sunny spells to observation.

    Sunny and cool here in Bristol with a curious bank of cloud just to the west. Don't think rain was forecast for today but looks quite grey out west. 11.3C

    A dry and cloudy start, the cloud thin and high allowing a few bright intervals. Most of the high cloud cleared by about midday and it became sunny for a time during the early afternoon before a weak front moving east brought a rapid increase in cloud from the west and a little light rain and drizzle around 1230 g.m.t. The rest of the afternoon was cloudy with further showery outbreaks of light rain after 1500 g.m.t.

    Cloudy and windy today. A little drizzle late morning, then spells of rain and drizzle pm, some heavy earlier this evening, fresh too strong SE to south wind. Became mild.

    Rather wet today with some heavier bursts of rain at times, currently clear with light SW winds. Very mild again for the time of year, clear skies on a late October night and the temp is 13.2c!!

    • Wet March so far with more rain for the rest of the month, but hints of more settled weather early April

      It's been a wet March for much of the UK, with well above average rainfall, though the Northern & Western Isles have been drier than average.
