A couple of hours of sunshine with largely clear skies early this afternoon before the cloud filled in again after 1500.

At 1800;

Temp', 6.6c

Ma' today, 7.8c

Min' last night, 5.8c ( 24 hr min' was 5.3c )

Grass min', 6.0c

Rainfall from 0900-1800, nil

Sunshine today, 2.01 hrs

Mean wind speed, 11 mph E

Highest gust today, 28 mph E at 1733

8 oktas St

Vis', 9 km.

Indeed, we must be dragging some cool air off the continent. Near by Manston Airport reporting a similar temperature.

Well that's interesting, and quite good, I should imagine this is crumbs of comfort for those saying the continent is cold :)

Been hovering around the 5.1c to 5.4c for past hour, bits of cloud filling in helping the temp recover for a short period.

2.6c and it feels pretty cold now, not sure whether I'll see an air frost. A stunning night sky.

Temp much lower already than the models have progged, predicted minimum temps were about 5/6c overnght.

6.1C now, the drop seems very slow tonight.

Unlikely we will see a ground frost, despite the NMM progging a low of 1C.

Hawarden has gone from 2C to 8C thanks to cloud cover. Amazing.

Clear spells last night I think!

Sunny and quite mild today. Light to moderate east breeze.

Clear periods this evening.

Min: 5.8c @ 0800

Max: 12.5c @ 1300

Dry yesterday and today

Currently: clear

Temp: 4.9c

RH: 92%

Pressure: 1016mbar, falling slowly.

1.8c with patches of ground frost on the lawn.

I think Inverness is the coldest currently @ -1c

Some clear slots have allowed some quite low temps. with some 0c in Northern areas and 4/5c in parts of the South
