4.6c how the eck is IF getting that I don't know :')

It's a well known fact that due to the dirty air nearby in Middlesbrough and Teesport, your temperature is often higher than most other areas.

I know that but 3c difference that isn't normally the case between us normally around a degree to max 2 degrees normally.

Problem with tonight is not only cloudcover but the wind will pick up as pressure drops so I don't think we will get too low around here tonight but maybe from the midlands southwards has a chance of a ground frost, perhaps an air frost in one or two locations also.

Yeah. A thin veil of cloud passed over you however.

That could explain it then :)

The temperatures have been rising everywhere? Oh well, I suppose there is still another 9 hours for us to get our frosts.

Nope. Cloud will roll in from the west as the night wears on unfortunately.

Still breezy here so temperature is stable

well that's contradictory to the ITV Forecast earlier, which say temperatures will fall to 1C around here, but only 3C in the South

After a fall to 4.2c early evening the wind has picked up from the SW and the temp has risen quickly and is now 8.3c, a few clouds about as well.

I'd be surprised if many places see a frost tonight given the wind is going to picking up steadily overnight and into tomorrow.

You forget I'm pinned right up against the welsh hills, I'm not getting the breezes that others are reporting.

I imagine close or below 0C now.

-1.6c here at the moment, but has been the same for about an hour now, so it may be that the expected cloud cover is beginning to arrive. Completely still, so if he sky were to stay clear it would get really pretty cold but sadly that isn't forecast.

True. I forget sometimes that your area can act as a frost hollow in certain set ups. Tonight is one!

5.5C now. It's a painfully slow drop as always around here.
