Mars Comparisons

I was hoping to get a occulation of Mars and the ISS this morning, however a factor of winds and offsetting by online orbital parameters meant my intended pic didn't come to fuition. However I snapped this image of the Red Planet whilst I was busy on the settings for the pre-planned pic.

An interesting contrast I think showing what even a bridge-DSLR camera is capable of when up against NASA/JPL.

Your shot does seem to show white frost at the 'south' end - it is surprising you can see that.
