There'll be real blizzard like conditions on higher ground (Glenshane probably included!) from some time tomorrow afternoon through to Friday morning, definitely should see some snow at lower levels as well but probably not until later in the day

Yeah I did watch it. Is it just me or do the forecasters seem to be holding back a little on forecasting this snow? I predicted for the last snow fall that you would see it first and you did Pomeroy! Not only did you see it first but you got the most! Jammy sod!

I'd rather not celebrate my house rolling down the road like tumble weed. Apart from that, my cellar is bone dry atm.

it wont be that bad?

No, but then again who knows, its been a while since the last winds of this strength in Bangor. Structural damage is likely.

There should be some decent accumulations of snow between tomorrow evening and Friday, snow level should be lower than it was over the weekend so hopefully I'll get a good covering this time

Without a doubt the most exciting day of weather we've had this year (for the north anyway!). Very rare to get an extreme storm followed immediately by the chance of heavy snow

Im looking forward to what tomorrow has to offer but of course I don't wish any damage to people's property or for lives to be in danger. Love a good storm :D. Good thing it was today I had to head over the Glenshane Pass and not tomorrow because of potential snow. My mum is supposed to be heading back to Scotland tomorrow on the ferry. Belfast to Cairnryan. Pretty sure that won't be happening!

make sure the picture is in the correct format and size. Can't offer any other advice than that, the only other problem would be from the upload server but I don't have the admin abilities to deal with that.

You'd be forgiven for thinking a settled spell was on the way here. Not a breath of wind outside, it's quiet as a church. A real calm before the storm.

not very severe winds at all .... i was correct

You must live in quite a sheltered spot geoffw. I'm in Cork city, which is well away from the main action and it sounds wild out! Non stop howling since about 2am, woke me up several times during the night.
