All the other stations around the area more or less match match with yours though, dews do vary but air temps around 5-6c.

Probably but why do it to us we do t get enough snow as it it so to build our hopes up like that is cruel. But i sort of half expected it as we only everget good snow from convection and it isnt easy to predict.

Yes, its best to not take their warnings too literally because they often end in dissapointment. I think most of us are wise to it now!

Last winter they issued a warning for my area 2 days ahead warning of fresh falls of upto a foot of snow, we got nothing! lol.

Hail mixed with snow I think here.

Small snow flurries here now. Backtrack, you was right. Of course it may be to wet to stick or whatever, but some falling snow so hopefully more increases during the day :)

Glad you've got some snow falling, 309m ASL you should have no trouble with the current uppers, surprised its wet and not sticking.

Hail and wet snow in Preston this morning, left a covering for a while and then led to the usual accompanying traffic chaos for 30 mins or so. Will people ever learn ..............

Really hefty shower around 7.45 near JN32 and around Fulwood. Was still coming down when my wife took the kids to school as well 45 mins later. All gone now though :(

This hail is intense. Everything is white.

I've never seen hail give us a coating like this. B;ades of grass nearly covered.
