Are they current though, or just forecasts for the current time?

GFS forecasts for the current time I think? But there's some added data in there. It seems very accurate.

Most welcome. Well worth the £3.49 :good:

I know, I can see them rolling in from the Irish Sea. Annoying me really. Shower dies as it hits me, and then intensifies a lot as it heads east! :wallbash:

Got more chance of seeing a flying toaster unless the flow changes to a more Westerly element. Showers skirting to my North all the time.

If it veers too much to the west though you will get too much moderation and you will get rain, i still say for all of the south of the region it aint gonna happen anytime soon though, tommorow between dawn and mid afternoon if at all, better off getting some sleep and seeing what happens.

Yep, sure will. Ah well, it's all part of the NW Winter rollercoaster.

I won't be sleeping any time soon. My average bed time is 3am. Got lots of American Dad to watch before that. :)

Got a lovely shower heading my way now. Won't be long. Evaporative cooling, featuring hail and sleet. I'll report back when it hits. :)

GRRRRRRR, it's gonna go North again. Can't believe it. Stupid sea.

You do know that even if that second band in cumbria hits us it still will be rain, it wont anyway, even if it doesnt fizzle out which it will, it would even miss me to the east, best chance tommorow for sure.

Graupel showers with snow flakes mixed in.

Going to be interesting during the next 6/8 hours for sure.

Wind died down here a long time ago, but then we are pretty much sheltered

in the south of the region.

We had a slight temperature inversion...feels more like -5C then +3C and falling

very little wind..measuring 2mph ocassionally

just been out HC and it doesn't feel all that cold to me.I think we need to be waiting until Jan/Feb before a nw wind produces far to much modification for my liking.
