Just had a nasty squall go through north, north east kent and to my surprise it even contained HAIL!. I could hear it smacking up against the window as i opened the door I was pushed back by the wind and could see the hail on the ground leaving a slushy mix on the car!

After this morning's monsoon there have been plenty of mixed showers rattling through here with very gusty winds and hail for about the tenth time this winter. I suppose this will do if snow is so hard to come by.

Seems some of the rivers in the SW are rather high, e.g. the Camel, Tamar, Taw, Torridge, and the Mole in particular (it's flooding) http://www.farsondig...-webcams/south/ (click on a river to get live images)

Also the River Exe on this cam looks really swollen and flooding adjacent fields. http://eathorvertonw....uk/index2.html

Will have to be quick though as it gets dark soon!

Well, that was wet today wasn't it? I was lucky that I could watch it out of a window. The temperature fell quickly after the rain had passed through as well...

Stunning sunrise this morning - quite spectacular! More gales tonight in our region and up as far as Humberside with maybe a chance or two of a tornado or funnel in the late, late hours?????
