Mostly cloudy with the odd break allowing some weak December sunshine through.

10.4c, not especially mild and definitely not T shirt weather :)

Judging by some posts you'd think it was out of the ordinary to have mild spells in the UK during Winter, it's not and this is quite normal.

Good evening all,

Not sure about average temps in all mentioned areas on the different posts but here we are 6c above average for today's reading .December is getting a pretty good positive anomaly in some areas in France!!

Today , reached 11.7c in Orly airport and 12.1c in Paris Montsouris. The odd short sunny spell was hard to come by.Morning started with the best sunny spells quickly became more overcast and continued like that all day with the odd sunny spell ( well not sure the sun showed itself entirely) l.Turning completely overcast now.

It is the low temps that are quite noticeable yesterday lowest for Paris 10.2c and now still 10.8c

Paris Montsouris did not see below 10c since 21st december 2 pm till now! so quite a nice spell of warm.

I think some people may be in denial judging by this post! Today was one of the most exceptional days I can remember in terms of mild weather in December. Not because of the temperatures, which have been higher, but because of the sunshine and relatively light winds coupled with the unseasonal warmth. I was in central Manchester during the afternoon and it really felt like a day in April with the sky being quite clear for much of the afternoon and temps up to 12C. It seems that we nearly always get cloud and strong breezes when the temperature is in double figures at this time of year, but today really was quite unusual.
