Maybe something for the Black country, Shropshire hills, Malvern etc being higher up but id say a pretty small risk tomorrow.

Marginal and height is not exactly something I could say im part of, but it'd be nice to see a few flakes for other snow starved members of the region. If only I had more than 1% confidence that the cold on the 12z would make it to the 12z tommorow, or even past the ECM tonight. Here's hoping.

I imagine you're a little too far west for snow tomorrow.

Yes I'm around 9 miles from him at 170m asl, depending on the speed of the front aproching there could be a slight window of opportunity, however very unlikely.

just want some dry high pressure, tomorrow (like last friday) looks a complete washout, but dry at night, gor I hope those 12Z's are correct just to see a respite from all the rain

Amazing really, just when I began to seriously think it was all over for this Easterly potential, the GFS 12Z comes to the rescue and dishes out a miracle for snow/cold/frosty lovers. :D

The latest UK Met Office model also looking as though it has potential for some cold weather, with that High Pressure to the North-East trying to have a duel with the Atlantic to the West.

But... beware... there could be many more changes to come. ;-)

It would be nice to see some snow and decent wintery weather as this winter has been a shocker so far!

be good to find a magnifying glass!

If your on about the Met Office then sadly its only far the far NE of our region. For some reason the warning displays for all locations within that region. :(

Dewpoint a very good -3.2c here at present which seems a good bit lower than other local stations. Seems a little low but until now its been very accurate at least ! If its right, maybe there is a small glimmer of hope of something a little wintry in the morning. Highly doubt I though.

I have decreed that we are going to get copious quantities of the white stuff over the next few weeks, I can feel it in my bones.....So with that in mind, here's a squeaky clean thread for the forthcoming wintry stuff!....
