A little rain and drizzle at times last night. Very mild with a fresh to strong SSW wind.

Mostly continuous rain, often heavy to very heavy 08-1430. Fresh to strong SSW wind veered north late morning, then backed NW this afternoon.

Big drop in temperature with the cold front down from 10c at 10am to just 5c by 1230, remaining close to this ever since.

We drove to Warwickshire this afternoon, wet through west Wales with flooded fields and rivers, then much drier past Brecon although still a little rain at times.
