Too much whiskey last night Pom?

Don't have to look far for our first snow risk. Monday and Tuesdays fleeting Pm incursion could see some for the N and W of Ireland.

Well the first snow of 2012 is falling in Derry!! Happy days!

Great news! Far earlier than expected. I sure hope that some of these showers reach Scotland and perhaps intensify.

Extremely heavy hail showers here with some snow mixed in, nice to have some interesting weather again after such a bland and boring week. Ground all white at the moment :)

Its been snowing off and on all night and we have 1/2cms on the ground! Gonna head to Donegal later with the dogs for a bit of hill walking before going back to work tomorrow! This mornings BBC forecast said there could be up to 20cms on hills even though there are no warnings out for snow.

Light snow shower here at the minute! The ground is very wet though, suspect it was just a mixture of sleet and rain for us last night. Benbradagh mountain is white from about half way up.
