Yesterday:

Variable cloud overnight, dry and mild. At observation, dry bright. The day continued rather cloudy conditions with bright spells. There were also a few patches of light rain and drizzle by the end of the afternoon. Very mild, top temperature 10.9c. The evening turned clear for a time with a ground frost developing before midnight.

When I saw late last week that HIGH pressure was due to be in charge I waited to see whether weak fronts would be

trapped within. Sure enough they are and we have a mish mash of Stratocumulus, mist, drizzle/light rain and occasional

brighter intervals.

Jean, yes it was windy at the time, but the temperature reached 11.3C today, so fairly pleasant out of the breeze.

Sure felt cold to start, correction it was actually 6.0C not 5C as that was an typing error.
