First post - rain in Cardiff, but I'm remaining positive about my chances. Maybe I should replace positive with desperate, but hey - I'm positively desperate for some snow and a long weekend! :80:

Well this has been a strange one.. Rain all morning, turned to sleet, had snow for all of 10 minutes before it stopped completely, now it's raining :( (Pontyberem)

Can't see much happening here but it was never forecast for me anyway!! Still raining and feels quite mild and what is worse, either the council has moved the lamp post out the back or it's not working and the one further up the street is too far to tell what's going on :help:

Just had a text from a work colleague in Cross Hands, the roads have snow on already. Literally not even a 5 minute drive from my house. It's just stopped raining here.. Just looks like we've had a downpour all afternoon here. How frustrating, must be right on the edge! (Pontyberem).

Nothing happening here just sleetly rain STILL! Temp 2c and hasn't moved for an hour. Going to sleep and waking up in 2 hours to see if anythings changed!

Still 2.4C and raining/sleety at times. Really need the temps to drop, its painfully slow! Wouldn't suprise me not to get snow though, staying positive though!

Rain in senghenydd even though were not far from Ponty. Ground now too wet for it to settle. Am so confused! Not to mention disappointed. Oh how i hate this winter!

I onestly cant say ive even had sleet, given up now i think. Met have it right snow only on the edge of the valleys/higher routes.

Non snow event also ere in Newport ,anyone know if the temps will drop and also how far will this band of rain push east and will it intensify .

I just came back from Blackwood and sleety mix is all that is over there - mostly rain.
