I'm happy! Snow flakes falling in Exeter for the last 20 minutes and it's -5, it's settled as well, although it's got lighter now - please come back.

Nice to hear of reports of snow further west lets just hope for a last min upgrade as it looks abit like winter over after today!? :cray:

Snowing in newport just over the severn bridge - not far away.

Despite my earlier gloom Chino has updated in Strat Warming thread - February looks v interesting!

It certainly does, Ive read severel times that the current spell could be shaping up to be like dec 10.

So what are the chances of this stalling? As its coming in earlier, is this good or bad news for us?

Where in the Quantocks? I work up there during the week

Williton way. We are just lower than the snow line from last weeks snow fall. Gutting that was!!!

Still snowing here and a very, very, very, light covering. Getting bursts of heavier stuff as well - though under no illusion it will remain this way.

Ooh. Don't like this. NW radar showing all rain over cornwall! And freezing rain over Swansea. It's all over.

Cloudy, Frosty and -1.9C after a maximum low of -10.1C. I am encouraged by some of the members reports but Laura Tobins forecast on BBC looked like a snow to rain event, midlands northwards looked better for all snow or minimal rain.
