Going to miss out on this as am in Italy right now, though still watching and wishing everyone a good evenings worth of the white stuff. Looking good for about 15cms I'd say, maybe a bit more where the front comes to a stop, good luck all!

Italy is making headlines here. Snow in rome??

A lot of the sleet over the spine of the country is now turning to snow.

Yes things going as planned, more snow occurring for now as the sun sets and the whole atmosphere ever so slightly cools along with the weakening mild sector.

You could the princely sum of £3.49 and have the NW radar which is better anyway for a month.

Do you think the snowfall will become more intense across the SE than it is currently across more western parts? Thinking that as the front occludes and slows down across our neck of the woods, things should spice up a bit.

Max Temp here today was 1.4, it's currently 1.3 in Shoreham by Sea (on the actual sea front), with a dew point now of -1.5 , I'm about 166ft elevation, and 1 1/2 miles inland here, so it's likely a tad colder and dew point a tiny bit lower perhaps, all in all it's looking good for us, the dew point has got lower as the day has gone on, so bodes well...just not liking that band of Precipitation ahead of the main band, hoping that wont fall as rain before the main event...it's still touch and go for us I think

I know our focus is on tonight, but just a heads up that the GFS 12z is another cracking run for the SE towards Thursday and Friday.
