It isn't a sweet spot though, that's reserved for further east and south... EA down towards SE

Going out into Sevenoaks town tonight for my mates birthday dinner (table booked for 6.30). We're obviously well aware of the snow potential but I've told everyone we should be safe until about 8.30-9 on the basis of this mornings forecasts. Is this still the case? I could have a lot of egg on my face if we get snowed in by 8...

Was also going to say the temperatures in north-east Kent today has been remarkable. A high of -3C?? About as cold as it can get on the coastline without snowcover...

Does anyone know when the snow is likely to hit north london? :)

Will probably start snowing lightly around 6pm. Heavier stuff won't arrive until later on.

I think there will definitely be snow by then but probably not enough to cause a snow in

I'm really frightened

I don't want it to fizzle out before it gets here :(

Frightened? LOL. You've got nothing to worry about. The snow will cover the whole country

You will be fine until about 9ish... I would say, the start of the snow will be light then gain in intensive as the evening goes on, its possible snow will only arrive between 9 to 11pm in Kent.

Btw, we have an excellent GFS and UKMO tonight. Both agreeing (at the moment!) on another easterly during the latter half of next week.
