Snow accumulating quite well at the moment here. It's powdery and blowing around in a moderate breeze. Looks like it may get heavier soon with the fronts beginning to merge.....

Slight dusting here, the hole over Sheffield/Rotherham seems to be filling in slowly

Around 2-3cm here.

Intensity the same for an hour or so now- small flakes light/moderate in intensity.

Snow patchy on roof and grass due to breeze and snow been of the powdery nature.

Yes, the Barnsley/Hudds snow shield has disappeared...pity the really heavy precip to the north west doesn't seem to progress past the west coast around Blackpool...

Uh oh, temperature risen a bit, better get the heavy snow back! Knife-edge, real life drama. :help: :smilz38:

Checkout those very bright echoes heading for west yorkshire on the rain today radar :o

We can hope.

Starting to get heavier now, radar looks good for us potty, just need to get the heavy precipitation over those hills!

Yep it's certainly stacking up on the far side. Hopefully should get something heavy out of that.

The way this wind is blowing the snow about, come morning when I wake up i'll see green lush grass, and my mate across the road will be buried under 6 foot of snow.

Wind blowing it about that much, even light seems heavy! cannot wait for the heavy stuff to set in later :D

Will the milder uppers make a massive difference? Since, you know, the snow isn't supposed to be really heavy til 6..

Likewise Steve, hope you get a pasting.

Will have to check out TWO later, bet a certain few are ramping it up.

Rob I cannot PM you, when I got unbanned my PM system has not been activated, so I cannot request a mod to enable it. So i'm stuck, no one can message me either
