Its still -1 here and overcast, although it was sunny an hour ago. Still an impressive snow cover here, untouched spots in the garden still have a good 4-5cms on and some of the piles of snow that have been cleared from carparks etc are huge!

Agree with Mr Murr though regarding tonights snow, its going to pull away SW rather rapidly and the last beeb forcast i saw had most of it west of Birmingham! South wales looked the place to be going by their weather map.

Still here's hoping next week brings us a dumping, you cant beat snow showers blowing in from the north sea!

Yes, it could be interesting after Monday - looks like we'll have a two day thaw before that point.

Here's a turn up for the books, Peter Gibbs on News24 said a few cms possible from Lincolnshire down into the London area, a billion miles better than I would have expected and more than enough for a Snowman transplant.

Gutted to hear it's going West. Nice to hear talks of snow next week but too far out to get excited.

There wiull be a distinct dry slot this afternoon-

that the gap between the end of the front & the convection spawning to its East...

If you end up in that forget it-

All eyes on the showers all over Norwich & thetford etc - tracking SSW-

HMMMMMMMMMMM, got a feeling I might be on the wrong side of the South Downs for this one. Now do I pitch up a tent somewhere to the West of Beachy Head, or stay at home and watch the fun others are having?!!

Whatever you get in the SE folks - enjoy!!!!!

Is much of the precipitation in the east actually producing anything Steve? Some people saying nothing is falling from the sky when the radar is showing them under rain/snow.

Still 10cms of snow here on grass, roads remain sheet ice. Walking difficult without ice grips - I should add that I live in the Thundersley plotland area of unmade roads.

Lot's of reports of false radar readings over EA and further up the Lincs coastline.

Seem's to be evaporating before making the ground!

may be the high air pressure is killing off the precipitation.

Not expecting snow tonight, but maybe edge of snow may reach Brighton, would be great even just to get a dusting.
