Reports of snow in Wilts and Glos - not far from here - will it get here eventually?

The main band in the East wasn't really forecast less than 24 hours ago - a dodgy forecast from the Pros IMO this last 24 hrs.

Steady light sleet still here. My met office app still says turning to heavy snow from around 9pm here.

come on!!! ;)

Keep us updated, am waiting for your first reports of snow and then i'm off up the mendips lol

watching the NW radar on the last hours loop - is it me or is it all going down the east of the country towards the saaaffff east and into the channel?

Yep the East is getting it all this year while the west gets stiffed. The models have handled the PPN very badly to get it so wrong at such a short time frame.

Lol! work phoned the misses earlier to see if she could go in tomorrow and cover snow bound midwives, at least she will be happy at not having to go in now :crazy:

hi windswept, I'm currently down in centreparcs, due back tomorrow, I presume its raining in longlevens still. if so, phew, want to get home :)
