Yeah the band is moving SW/SSW right now, howeve I think its safe to say pretty much the whole region has done quite alot better than forecasted. Very pleased with the result of tonight...

Not sure about 'whole region' - don't think the Eastern areas got more than a few flakes but yes, many areas did / are doing well for a 'non SE event'.

still moderate snow in west croydon laid on roads and pavements the backstreets round croydon will be interesting when this ices over

you really don't want to be on the back streets of Croydon though, whatever the weather :aggressive:

Seriously slowing down here, however, have a decent covering on top what we had which is great. Just pepped up again as I type. Wondering if the teachers might fancy starting half term a day early?

Snowing nicely here and has been for about an hour and half, about a cm so far, road covered too, didn't think we were gonna get too much.

Cars all nicely covered here in Surbiton, but roads and pavements not interested - boo!

Just went outside to check, and it's defanately snow still here, just that wet bulb is stopping what is falling settling on the paths and roads (good news for local motorists)

Much heavier here now, looks more like proper snow than Saturdays! Only thing is its not gonna snow for as long so don't expect to wake up to total white tom morn - still not settling on road?!

Off to bed now so we'll see come morn!

Well te planes go every 7 minutes and that's when I hear them...But they are every 20mins I would say now..

Maybe te delay is due to de-icing?

Nice heavy burst moving through SW.London right now down to about Guildford, could be 2-3cms in an hour in that area so travel will be a problem and in the heavier bursts it'll probably start to settle on the roads as well.

Dew points must be falling because the snow is trying to settle more on the pavement now. Road still wet though.
