Infact everyone email paul,the supercomputer GFS SAYS SNOW members say no !!!!

I think meto are likely to be correct on this one although they have said its finely balanced and alot of uncertainty on extend of the snow signal. I think further east you are better chance you have. Probably see abit of sleet on mendips and maybe brief transient snow on back edge although I won't know being in bristol sunday and it won't settle or be there by 5pm when i get home. gonna be a nasty cold wet day though! :lazy: ground certainly doesn't need that rain here.

Wife wants to go to lyme regis for lunch tomorrow so no chance of seeing wet snow for me anyway... :fool:

I filmed a decent funnel cloud over Longleat from Frome last year, sent it to Points West but nothing came of it as think it went in to late to them..

Not sure about the heights of those places.

Re the funnel cloud, do you still have the video to post here? Also what date was it please? Thanks.

HEAVENS GATE SLIGHTLY LESS +/- 220 METRES

Has anyone seen the meteor tonight or the smaller meteors seen afterwards. I don't think it came this far south but impressive photos on twitter.

In other news down here. The moon has a mad really large halo glow tonight here!

Just found out the halo round the moon is an ice halo formed by ice crystals. It's really pretty. If you can get a look go out and view it.

Sleety rain here now,temps have dropped from 6.0c to 4.5c in the last hour and a half.

Looking at temperaturew at home it might turn to snow just before it clears up there. Interesting although would be nice to see it. :doh:

Hi divadee - just so happened to see that halo from down here in St Ives last night (on holiday). Was a beautiful sight!

Nothing even resembling sleet here just very vey heavy rain. It's cold rain though. Temp 5.8 now has dropped from 8 to 5.8 in less than an hour. DP of 5.2

Temp is rapidly falling here now. Gone to 4.6 from 5.8 in half an hour. Wind chill makes it 1.3 still just v heavy rain though.
