Lovely morning here, woke up at 6.45am, sunny and quite mild considering the sun has just come up.

Disappointingly cloudy day in warwickshire, everytime i saw a bit of blue and a minute of sun the cloud rolled back in again, much be so frustrating for sun worshippers wanting an early tan.

A tan in March? that's practically impossible surely, at least before the end of the month anyway.

UV index isn't really that strong at all yet, I caught the sun a bit in Late September last year from a UV index that peaked at 3.0 but that was only slight.

Quite some disagreement RE: Temperatures tomorrow! NMM not much more than 13/14c tomorrow but Met Office going for 18c on the text forecast! I hope its the latter as it will feel great if so! Met Office also starting to back down on the cloudy forecast. When the day in question falls, they seem to be adding more sunshine symbols. :)

Another stunning morning and day in prospect. However looks like Staffordshire is under Cloud again. That will burn off though.

8/8 cloud cover here, it did break in the afternoon yesterday so there's still hope I suppose.

Id hate to be where you are right now. In comparison, NO cloud here!

Just seen the satellite pic- it's looks like it's clear 30 miles E and S of here, yet again.

 its a bloody joke how much of a terrible microclimate we have in shropshire.

This is exactly what happened most of last year, slate grey skies over Shropshire & parts of Staffordshire with the rest of the Midlands cloudless.

Almost completely clear skies here - that's about 35 miles from Telford!

There's a bank of cloud to the north, but nothing towards the south east. I imagine most of Staffordshire's clear, too.

By south-east, I meant south-west. My geography's not that poor!

Fear not Shropshirians! With this new law from the Shropshire Weather Council, Shropshire will never see a cloud. Again. :p

Wow. That Shropshire Weather Council is doing a good job then. Let's hope that is a lesson to the Shropshire cloud and that it never shows its face around North-Western parts of the region again.

Looking at the Met Office temperature recordings, seemed to reach 14*C here today, though it kinda felt more like 16/17*C (lol).

As the High becomes more centered to our East from about Tuesday, winds although very light will swing to the South/South East so Shropshire shouldnt have cloud from the Cheshire Gap direction although as they seem to love it so much im sure they will probably find another way for it.

I fell foul of the Shropshire cloud fest today. Seeing this morning was so beautiful here in Stourbridge we decided to head out for a walk...and chose the Wrekin!

It was brightening as we left to come back though!

Yep, pretty much the same here as well today AJ. Didn't see a cloud in the sky after mid-morning. Winter (whatever is left of it) can bugger off now, as far as I'm concerned! B)

Can you believe that some people still think it is winter and that spring starts on the 21st march, it hasn't felt like winter for about a month now lol
