Patchy rain cleared mid-moring to sunshine and light showers and an unexpectedly mild afternoon. Maximum 14.6, minimum 7.5. Wind light SW.

Thick fog at first this morning, eventually lifting into low cloud by mid-morning as intermittent light rain moved in from the west associated with a weak cold front. The front cleared this area by late morning and the afternoon was much brighter with sunny intervals and one or two brief, light showers.
