    Fairly bright with the sun trying to break through the cloud, no rain recorded but the ground was damp when I looked out several hours ago, now dry again, lowest temeprature was 7.9C its now 9.2C.

    Today has turned out way better than what was been shown a few days back it was forecast to be wet and windy, but instead its dry and sunny it's cureently 10.1°C with no wind what a grand start.

    Broken cloud during the first half of yesterday evening but generally the night was cloudy and after midnight there was intermittent light rain which amounted to very little.

    Lovely sunny morning, temp 9c, light winds and feeling humid. Just been out to sow some veg seeds, very pleasant indeed, much better than yesterdays drizzle fest!

    Thick cloud rolled in now, some heavy, slow moving showers heading this way on the radar.

    Rain most of the morning, cloudy and dry with occasional brightness in the afternoon. Maximum 12.2, minimum 7.0. Wind light SW.

    Of course it has to be a wet day when our freezer packs up and I have to go out and find another one quickly before the contents all defrost (while Mrs S. finds a neighbour who can offer temporary storage for the contents) :help:

    • Wet March so far with more rain for the rest of the month, but hints of more settled weather early April

      It's been a wet March for much of the UK, with well above average rainfall, though the Northern & Western Isles have been drier than average. Despite a colder drier respite on Monday, staying generally unsettled to see out the rest of the month. But hints of some drier weather in early April. Read the full update here
