Cold, sunny start with an early ground frost. Now 6.4 deg C after an overnight low of 0.8. Wind calm. A real contrast for me from Cairo yesterday afternoon, where there was a heavy dust storm with strong SW winds and the temperature peaked at 31.

The maximum recorded while I was away was 21.6 (presumably on 28 March), and the minimum 0.2.
