Moderate-heavy snow falling here and a strong NE wind. Have only just got up and looked out of the window but there seems to be about 8cm of lying snow. Full report later.

cold, breezy and wet with slight rain and snow, a low of 1.8C with it hovering around that now and then up to 2.1C; oh well I'll have to go outside as its dustbin day!

Total rainfall so far is 6.6mm so most around here will have had about 10mm I suspect?

Dreadful nights sleep with rain & wind hammering on the skylight all night long. Started at midnight and is still going strong now. 11mm fallen so far.

Currently sleety rain 2.3c.

Called off camping trip to Wales - just not practical in these conditions.

big fat flakes at times but the radar is having trouble deciding if its rain, sleet or snow-not surprising as it changes minute by minute outside-rainfall up to 5.8mm since midnight with 2.4mm yesterday

Trying desperately to snow here, sleeting at the moment. Looks blustery and feels bitter. Who have thought it after last week...

My cup overfloweth John, although I can't help feeling for any birds which had nestlings after the long spell of mild, quiet weather.

Conditions unchanged here with continuous moderate snow and serious drifting. Temp', -0.3c.
