One recent rumble of thunder but 25.2mm's of rain here so far today and another heavy shower passing through.

Nothing particularly exciting out there at the moment, just persistent moderate rain.

I also got an annoying text from my housemates in Egham asking me when there would be some thunder. Obviously very localised if Thorpe had thunder.

GFS maybe pointing to an area over exmoor late in the day? Maybe a chance of something getting its feet wet in the bristol channel?

That band passed through (30-45 mins of rain) - one rumble of thunder and heavy rain.

Nothing that special.

Temperature differences are huge at this time of year - great environment for activity.

Squall line passed through here initially bringing heavy rain and a couple of rumbles of thunder, and then, the back end curved round and brought more heavy rain and another rumble. Sun shining now...
