mostly cloudy but its now dry after yet more rain overnight and to start the morning.

Its a long long time, probably 2007, since so much rain has fallen here, over 30mm in the past 48 hours and the monthly total now stands at almost 80mm, so most in this area are likely to have had 90-110mm as my gauge under reads.

The highest minimum temperature for a while at 7.6c has risen to 11.3c so far, some sunny spells but plenty

of sky watching to come today with large TCu/Congestus and showers nearby - a few of which have affected

here with sharp rainfall.

Light to moderate rain died out after midnight. Remaining cloudy and damp. The morning to observation has been rather cloudy with a few brighter and sunny spells developing during the past hour. Cumulus clouds continued to build and showers broke out throughout the area, some of these were heavy locally, with this station a short heavy one around lunchtime. There were further sunny spells through the day with a couple more heavy showers clipping this location.
