Rain turning to sleet here should be some snow around on top. Wonder if we'll get any evaporative cooling. None so far.

It certainly is, someone I know on facebook posted a photo of a large oak tree right across A3052 at Sidmouth Waitrose at about 5am, as they were called out to help clear it.

Some long overdue dry and sunny weather here this weekend, yesterday and today each having over 9 hours of sun.

Temperatures remained well below average though with a max of 8.8C yesterday and 9.0C today, the lowest maxes I can recall for sunny days this late in the season.

It has not reached 10C since the 17th and today was the 18th consecutive day of below average maximum temperatures.

Today would have been the only the 4th dry day of the month but it seems more rain is on the way later tonightsleep.png. Currently 5.7C and cloudy.

Cloudy, spells of mainly light rain and drizzle 07-1500, even ice pellets/ small hail around 0800. Fresh to strong NE wind, but no gales nor heavy rain in these parts thanks to the Cambrian Mountains sucking the moisture out:
